    The Stroke Association Carol concert on the 12th December 2014 will provide the perfect start to everyone’s Christmas celebrations. The Carol Concert, which will feature the Sainsbury’s Choir, recently seen on a hit TV Show, will take place at All Saint’s Church in Mill Street Maidstone.

    Christmas is fast approaching, and the Stroke Association are calling on Christmas lovers everywhere to support Cwmbran Vale Rotary’s festive 2014 Christmas Pudding Appeal in aid of the Stroke Association.
    The appeal raised over £15,000 for charity last year, and now the Stroke Association and the Rotary want to top last year’s total and set a new record to sell over 3,500 puddings.

    A Fobbing stroke survivor has been awarded a Highly Commended Life After Stroke certificate from the Stroke Association.
    John Mealand, 68, had a major stroke in 1998 which left him with left side paralysis, and in a wheelchair. John was forced to leave his job as an electronics engineer, and was cared for by his wife as he worked on his rehabilitation.
