Stroke Association statement on Jimmy Greaves

Jon Barrick, Chief Executive of the Stroke Association, said:

“We were deeply saddened to hear of Jimmy Greaves’ stroke, and wish him well in his recovery. Across the UK, there are millions of people just like Jimmy and his family, who are rebuilding their lives after stroke one day at a time. It’s an incredibly cruel condition that strikes in an instant, with consequences that can last a lifetime. The Stroke Association is here for everyone who’s life has been changed by stroke, each step towards recovery is a victory.”
