Blood pressure testing in the Scottish Parliament

Press release -

Blood pressure testing in the Scottish Parliament

We secured MSP sponsorship of A Know Your Blood Pressure event in The Scottish Parliament during the week of World Stroke Day (29 October).

Over 50 MSPs came along to discuss the importance of high blood pressure and its link to stroke.

Many of those MSPs, committed to knowing more about how stroke and how it might affect people in their constituency have requested further discussion with colleagues.

We look forward to meeting them and highlighting key strokes issues further.

World Stroke Day is observed on October 29 to underscore the serious nature and high rates of stroke, raise awareness of the prevention and treatment of the condition, and ensure better care and support for survivors.
