Local celebrities line up for Stroke Association Christmas carol service

The Stroke Association’s annual Christmas carol service will this year take place on Wednesday 12 December at Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Street.

The charity’s star-studded evening, will include festive readings by Rudolph Walker and Sophie Thompson. The night will also have performances by St Paul’s Girls School choir and NHS Lewisham and Greenwich Choir.

Charlotte Lee, Regional Fundraiser at the Stroke Association, said: “Our carol service is always a great opportunity for friends and family to enjoy the Christmas spirit and support a brilliant cause. The funds raised will make a huge difference to the lives of people living with stroke, and we’re all looking forward to special performances from our supporters and NHS Lewisham and Greenwich Choir.

“There are around 1.2 million people in the UK living with the devastating impact of stroke, events like these are so important: the funds raised will help us be there for even more stroke survivors, helping them rebuild their lives.”
