  • Magherafelt stroke survivor wins courage award

    Clodagh Dunlop, 38, from Magherafelt in Co. Londonderry has been presented with a Life After Stroke Adult Courage Award by the Stroke Association after surviving a brain stem stroke which initially left her with locked-in syndrome. She was given her award by actors James Norton and Victoria Yeates, at a star studded ceremony in the Dorchester hotel in London on 1 November 2017.

  • Oxfordshire photographer wins Life After Stroke Award

    Richard Raynor, 36, from Oxford, has been presented with a Life After Stroke Award for Creative Arts on behalf of the Stroke Association by broadcaster Mike Bushell and comedian Marcus Birdman at a glittering ceremony at the Dorchester hotel in London.

  • Surrey fundraiser wins national award

    Guilford resident Lucy Trafford has been awarded a Life After Stroke Award for fundraising over £130 000 for the Stroke Association. She was presented with her award by actor Rupert Graves and Baroness Brady at a glittering ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in London on 1 November 2017.

    Edward Pearce, 13, from Camberley, Surrey, has been awarded a Life After Stroke Carers Award by the Stroke Association. Edward was presented with his award by rugby legend Michael Lynagh and comedian Stephen K Amos at a glittering ceremony at the Dorchester Hotel in London on 1 November 2017.

  • East Kent Doctor wins national Life After Stroke Award

    Dr DavidHargroves, Clinical Lead for Stroke Medicine at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust, has been presented with a Life After Stroke Award for Professional Excellence on behalf of the Stroke Association by Sophie Thompson and Baroness Benjamin at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
