Over 200 people from Manchester celebrated the launch of Science Stroke Art 2014 on Thursday 1 May, with an innovative event at Manchester Town Hall to mark the start of Action on Stroke Month.
Jo Cann, wife of Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) chief executive Nick Cann who had a stroke in March 2013, is taking on a 300-mile sponsored cycle ride to Paris with former IFP President Julie Lord to raise thousands of pounds for Stroke Association.
The Stroke Association is opening its doors to the
community on Thursday 8 May 2014 to celebrate the second anniversary of the
Life after Stroke Centre in Church
Lane, Bromsgrove. The charity is inviting everyone
along to kick start Action on Stroke Month activities and to find out more
about the work of the Centre.
