Coopain Cabana LTDA, an initiative of the Cabanenos Farmers

In 2001, Coopain Cabana started its activity by the initiative of the Cabanenos Farmers who were tired of receiving abusively low prices for the sale of Quinoa. They decided to form the Central Association of Producers Multisectorale Cabana - ASCENPROMUL – which later, on the 12^th of July 2010, became Industrial Agro Cabana Ltda Cooperativa , or Coopain Cabana. Then the export of quinoa to different countries grew. The company mainly exports to the United States, Germany, France and the Netherlands. Improving the prices for this valuable product for the benefit of their producers.

Coopain Cabana aims to strengthen businesses and social responsibility. Our technical team ‘Internal System Control’ensures product traceability, performs inspections and verificationsin selecting the land, planting, cultivation, pest and disease control, harvesting, post-harvest and marketing to make sure the production process is done organically and the products are of the highest quality.

This year Coopain Cabana will show their Andean ingredients at Health Ingredients Europe in Frankfurt. Visit their stand between November 29th and December 1st.
