Witness appeal following robbery in East Molesey

We are appealing for information following a robbery and assault in East Molesey last Thursday (25 April).

The robbery took place around 4.40pm in Esher Road at the junction with Orchard Lane. The victim was punched in the face before having his bike stolen. The suspect then rode off on the victim’s bike and is believed to have headed in the direction of Imber Court.

The suspect has been described as a white male, around 5,8 with very short shaven black hair, slim build and around 28 years old. He was wearing a long sleeve maroon poloneck, grey tracksuit bottoms, black jumper and white trainers.

The stolen bike is a black Brompton folding bike.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses or information from anyone who may know about the robbery.
