Witness appeal following robbery in West Byfleet

We are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in West Byfleet on Saturday (17 August).

The 17 year old victim was cycling along the canal path near Woodham Lock around 8:30pm when he was approached by four teenage males. They demanded he handed over his belongings before punching him in the face and running off with his bag which contained his wallet, gym gear and air pods.

Following a call to his bank, the victim discovered that his card had been used for an unauthorised payment of a Domino’s pizza, shortly after it was stolen. We are reviewing these details as part of the investigation.

The suspects are described as all wearing dark-coloured tracksuits with their hoods up and faces covered with scarves. They all spoke with English accents and it is estimated that they were all aged 16 to 17 years old.
