Hi there!

Ghost Ship Publishing and Funday Games have just revealed that their auto-shooter spin off Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor reached 500,000 units sold in just a week after its release into Early Access! Here’s a short summary in case this is of interest to news:

  • Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is a single player, top-down shoot’em up game featuring iconic dwarves and bugs from the world of Deep Rock Galactic. The game evolves the surging ‘survivor-like’ genre by implementing terrain destruction in the form of mining, allowing for strategic route planning, and features 4 player classes, 40 weapons and dozens of overclocks and artifacts, with more on the way.
  • The IP’s debut in this genre currently sits on Very Positive on Steam, with more than 84% of user reviews positive. Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor has also climbed to the top of Steam’s Top Sellers list over the past week.
  • Funday Games have also revealed their Early Access roadmap in which they map out additional content that will be making its way into the game as it progresses towards a full 1:0 release including new biomes, biome mutators, bosses and overclocks. The Early Access phase is currently estimated to last 6-12 months as Funday Games works alongside the player community to finish the game.
