LONDON, UK, November 7 2025 – PUBG MOBILE Esports is delighted to announce the finalized groups for the 2025 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) Group Draw. The top 40 teams from around the world are now set to compete for the 2025 PMGC trophy and their share of a $3,000,000 prize pool. This year’s PMGC, the highlight of the PUBG MOBILE Esports calendar, will take place in Thailand as part of the inaugural PUBG UNITED 2025, where both the PMGC and the PGC will be celebrated together in one event.
For the first time in PMGC history, 2025 PMGC will be kicking off its first stage, with The Gauntlet (November 24-26), offering more avenues for teams to reach the Grand Finals. The Gauntlet will see 16 elite teams compete across 18 matches, split across the three days. The top seven teams from this stage will advance directly to the Grand Finals, while the remaining nine move into the Group Stage.
These nine teams will make up Pool 1 and will be split into Group Red and Group Green based on their rankings at the conclusion of The Gauntlet. Even-ranked teams will be assigned to Group Red, whilst odd-ranked teams will be placed in Group Green. They’ll be joined by 23 additional teams from Pools 2-8, completing the Group Stage lineup.
The Group Stage then kicks off with Group Green on November 28-30 and is followed by Group Red on December 2-4. Each group will play 18 matches across three matchdays. The top three teams from each group will secure their place in the Grand Finals, while the bottom five teams from each group will be eliminated. Teams placing 4th-11th in each group will move forward to the Last Chance stage (December 6-7) for one final opportunity to qualify for the Grand Finals and to stay in the running for the lion’s share of the $3,000,000 prize pool.
