London, 13th August, 2026 - The 2026 PUBG MOBILE World Cup (PMWC) is entering its final stage, as the penultimate Survival Stage comes to a close and the Grand Finals draw closer. The intense Survival Stage saw 16 teams fight tooth-and-nail to stay in the competition, with Tianba emerging at the top of the leaderboard and securing one of the final six spots in the final showdown. With the Grand Finals now on the horizon, the remaining PUBG MOBILE Esports teams from the Group Stage and Survival Stage will go head-to-head for a share of the $3,025,000 prize pool and the chance to be crowned 2026 PUBG MOBILE World Cup champions.
The Survival Stage of the 2026 PMWC saw groups ranked 6th-13th from the Group Stage make their final bid to stay in the competition from the 11th-12th of August. After two days of high-pressure action, Tianba rose to the top of the standings, with AlUla Club and NS RedForce rounding out the top three to secure their places in the Grand Finals. Brazil’s Furia made a strong start to the competition with an impressive 85 points, despite not winning any chicken dinners. Wolves Esports narrowly missed out on qualification, bringing their PMWC journey to an end alongside reigning world champion Alpha7 Esports.
All eyes will now turn to Paris, where the 2026 PMWC Grand Finals will take place from 14th–16th August at Expo Porte de Versailles, as part of the prestigious Esports World Cup. The remaining 16 teams will face off across 18 matches over three exhilarating days, with the winner-takes-all SMASH rule upping the stakes on the final day. With the likes of Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2026 winners GodLike Esports, 2026 PMGO Season 1 South Asia Finals leaders 4Thrives, and top 2026 PMWC Group Stage contenders 4Thrives and Team Vitality among the standout contenders to watch.
