Black Desert Teases New Class Ahead of Heidel Ball, While Terrmian Festival Continues

Amsterdam, The Netherlands — July 17, 2026 — Pearl Abyss revealed a teaser video for an upcoming new class in Black Desert ahead of Heidel Ball, the game’s annual global event taking place next week.

The teaser centers on a gun-wielding figure called Eddie, who is on a mission to bring back his sister. It offers a first glimpse at the character’s weapon, personality, and narrative. Further details, including the class’s full name, combat style, and abilities, will be revealed during Heidel Ball next week.

While Adventurers await the event, the Terrmian Festival continues with a variety of new activities and rewards.

A new World Boss, “Winged Mermaid” will appear twice a day at Terrmian Beach. Adventurers who defeat the boss can obtain rewards including a Terrmian Dice Box, 50 Cron Stones, a Gold Bar 100G, and more. Players may also receive valuable bonus rewards, including a Box of 1,000 Cron Stones and a Gold Bar 1,000G.

The appearance of the Winged Mermaid has also brought a powerful whirlwind to Terrmian Beach, uncovering treasures from the depths of the sea. Adventurers can fish up an [Event] Rare Ocean Treasure Bundle, which contains items such as a Gold Bar 100G, 100 Crow Coins, Ravinia's Moss Remover, and more.

With some luck, Adventurers may also obtain highly valuable treasures from the bundle, including a Gold Bar 10,000G, Golden Ghost Whale, Golden Turtle Shell, Moss-Covered Map, and more. They can combine Ravinia's Moss Remover and the Moss-Covered Map through Simple Alchemy to obtain Torn Treasure Map Pieces. Collecting all nine pieces will allow Adventurers to acquire the Treasure Map of a Sailor, which guides them to a treasure chest hidden deep beneath the ocean.

Ahead of Heidel Ball, Adventurers can also visit the Heidel Fountain and complete simple quests that reward the [Event] An Adventurer's Tome. Equipping the Tome provides a variety of powerful buffs, including Monster Damage Reduction +10, a 10% increase in Item Drop Rate, EXP boosts, and more.
