DEEP ROCK GALACTIC: SURVIVOR ANNOUNCES PLAYSTATION AND NINTENDO SWITCH RELEASE, NEW 'KNOCKOUT' EXPANSION DLC

Announced at the Big Break Showcase, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor brings Knockout news to the miners of Hoxxes IV

COPENHAGEN, Denmark, 29th September, 2026 – Today, Ghost Ship Publishing and Funday Games announced that Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor will be releasing on Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 and PlayStation 5. The dwarven rock mining mayhem will also be getting a brand-new Expansion, titled ‘Knockout’, bringing with it a new class and mission.

Rock and Stone, On Console!

First on the slate is Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor’s announced launch on PlayStation 5 on October 7th, as well as Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 on October 9th! After seeing rocking success on PC, mobile, and Xbox, the dwarves of Hoxxes IV are expanding their territory, giving even more workers a chance to join the Company.

Brawl, Maul and Haul!

Next on the roster is the Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor ‘Knockout’ Expansion DLC, bringing a brand-new class, a brutal new biome, a fresh mission type, and a lethal bundle of weapons to bolster ongoing Hoxxes operations.

Due to insufficient profit margins, the Company has deployed the Brawler, a hardy dwarf ready to smash rocks and enemies with pure power (and metal fists). The first worker to sport a mohawk, this new class introduces distinct combat abilities and powerful melee gear designed to conquer the planet’s unforgiving subterranean hazards.

The Brawler’s natural habitat is a brand-new biome, the Sandblasted Corridors. Built for only the toughest crews, this cavernous environment features mineral-providing sand twisters, looming underground stabba vines, and exploding spore plants.

In addition, Management is introducing the high-risk Brood Harvest mission. Miners will face off with the Dreadnought Empress boss, an insectoid matriarch spawning sacrificial offspring to build a biological shield between her and the elite dwarven crew. Workers, be warned – get to the Dreadnought Empress before her Brood gets to them.
