New York, November 16th 2025 - Following an electrifying Grand Final, G2 Esports have claimed their victory, and secured the title of Red Bull Home Ground 2025 champions. The standout team conquered this year's competition 3-0 over NRG in the Grand Finals, cementing their name in Red Bull Home Grounds list of valiant victors.

“This crowd really wanted a good show,” - said Josh “JoshRT” Lee, Head Coach of G2 Esports - “We like playing with a crowd as well. From my perspective back in the couch booth, it sounded like the players were really having fun with it. We heard comms like, ‘Jawgemo, go for this duel, man. The crowd’s behind you, just go for it.’ It gave us a lot of confidence knowing that the crowd was behind us.”

With thousands of fans packed inside the Hammerstein Ballroom from November 13-16, and many more tuning in from around the world, this year’s event marked the first time the tournament has been held in the United States, setting the stage for a spectacular display of top-tier VALORANT talent and international competition.

The action kicked off on Thursday 13th, with the Play-In Stage bringing together a diverse field of international teams, including top-tier teams such as Cloud9, ENVY, Eintracht Frankfurt, BLX Corp, and BXL Zoo, each squad fighting tooth and nail for a coveted spot on the main stage for the Play-Ins. After a day of intense matchups, Cloud9, and Cubert Academy fought their way through the bracket to secure qualification, joining the invited elite lineup and completing the roster for the Red Bull Home Ground 2025 Main Stage.

“Red Bull Home Ground is a good start for everybody and just connecting with the community.” - said Josh “JoshRT” Lee, Head Coach of G2 Esports - “All of these teams wanted to have a good showing, especially us, because there’s pressure for us to start really well, and I think we accomplished that.”

As competition continued to heat up on Friday 14th, Play-Ins delivered back-to-back clashes featuring both Winners Bracket and Lower Bracket runs. NRG and ZETA DIVISION dominated their opening rounds, while G2 Esports made a stunning Lower Bracket comeback to keep their tournament hopes alive. Each match was a showcase of world-class talent and tactical innovation as the field narrowed toward the semifinals.

On Saturday 15th, the tension reached its peak as the Winners Finals and Final Bracket matches determined the two remaining contenders. NRG outplayed ZETA DIVISION with commanding performances, while G2 Esports secured their revenge against ZETA DIVISION in a powerful showing. With the stage set for the final showdown, both finalists prepared for the Grand Finals to close out the weekend.

The final day on the 16th saw the Grand Finals bring together the tournament’s two most formidable rosters, NRG and G2 Esports, in front of a packed Hammerstein Ballroom and thousands more tuned in from across the world. The momentum swung with every round, but in the end, it was G2 Esports who stood tall; sealing a dominant 3-0 victory and lifting the Red Bull Home Ground 2025 trophy to thunderous applause.

“I feel really proud of this one,” - said Jacob “Valyn” Batio, In-Game Leader of G2 Esports - “We saw this tournament as a big test for us — to see if our read is right on the team, to see if our gamble of making a roster change with such a good team was worth it — and these early signs are a good indicator that the future is bright for us because I still think there’s more for G2.”
