GALAXIES SPRING SHOWCASE SPOTLIGHTS OVER 50 GAMES INCLUDING ECHOES OF AINCRAD, HELL LET LOOSE VIETNAM, NORTHGARD: BATTLEGROUNDS, AND KITARIA FABLES 2

Third gaming showcase delivers 7 world premieres, major publisher announcements, and exclusive reveals from major publishers and indie studios alike

April 16th, London - The third Galaxies showcase has concluded, delivering an hour of non-stop gaming announcements from 50 titles. Hosted by Jane Douglas, the event featured seven world premieres, exclusive gameplay footage, shadow drops, demo drops, and major release date announcements.

Galaxies Spring partnered with Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe to showcase a new gameplay trailer for Echoes of Aincrad, the highly anticipated JRPG set in a world of beauty and danger where every battle could be your last.

Seven major world premiere game reveals dominated the evening: astragon Entertainment unveiled Construction Simulator: Evolution, delivering a massive suite of new features including demolition, manual labor, and Volvo as a new license partner; PQube announced Kitaria Fables 2, the highly anticipated new entry in their beloved cozy action RPG series; Shiro Unlimited unveiled Northgard Battlegrounds, a brand-new standalone spin-off set in the world of Northgard, blending auto-battler action with tactical city-building; Rebel Pixel revealed Stardream, a retro-futuristic investigation adventure set in a mysterious space station, with a playable demo now available; Alawar presented Wall World Strategy, the franchise's first full 3D entry; Gambit Digital unveiled Mojo Party, bringing the iconic pop culture brand to interactive gaming; and Wired Productions debuted Act II of When Sirens Fall Silent, their new psychological thriller from the team behind Martha is Dead.

The showcase delivered substantial exclusive content across the board:

MAJOR WORLD PREMIERES

astragon Entertainment unveiled Construction Simulator: Evolution, featuring a huge suite of new features including demolition, manual labor, Volvo as a new license partner, and two brand-new maps with challenging campaigns, coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

PQube world premiered Kitaria Fables 2, the next installment in their cozy action RPG series which introduces two brand-new heroes, an entirely new region, and an adventure built from the ground up for local and online co-op!

Shiro Unlimited also revealed Northgard Battlegrounds, a new standalone spin-off developed by the acclaimed team at Funday Games, the studio behind the hit Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. Set in the Northgard universe, the game combines city-building strategy, auto-battler mechanics, and asynchronous PvP in a fresh new format.

Rebel Pixel revealed Stardream, a retro-futuristic investigation game set in a mysterious space station, blending immersive storytelling with distinctive visuals and striking art direction. Players can now step into the mystery with a playable demo and begin uncovering the truth.

Alawar presented Wall World Strategy, the first full 3D game in the Wall World franchise offering real-time strategy with colony-building, survival and tower-defense elements.

Gambit Digital unveiled Mojo Party, bringing the iconic pop culture brand into interactive party gaming.

Wired Productions debuted Act II of their cinematic trailer series for When Sirens Fall Silent, a psychological thriller from LKA, the creators of Martha is Dead, offering a grounded investigation into kidnappings, trauma, and the cost of confronting an inescapable past.

NACON & MAJOR PUBLISHER ANNOUNCEMENTS

Focus Entertainment showcased an exclusive overview trailer for Yerba Buena, their puzzle-platforming adventure set in 1970s San Francisco with a surprise reveal at the trailer's conclusion - a Steam demo launching immediately. The publisher also celebrated the launch of Atomic Heart's final DLC Blood on Crystal, offering the thrilling, high-stakes conclusion to the game's unique story.

Fumi Games and PlaySide Studios launched MOUSE: P.I. For Hire today, an action-packed noir FPS combining hand-drawn rubber hose animation inspired by classic 1930s cartoons with explosive first-person shooter gameplay set in the gritty streets of Mouseburg.

Supermassive Games delivered a comprehensive everything you need to know update on Directive 8020, their cinematic sci-fi horror adventure launching today where death takes many forms in the depths of space.

Team17 brought explosive news with a new hardcore combat trailer for Hell Let Loose Vietnam, the 50v50 FPS that’s open for beta testing sign ups now, alongside a release date reveal of May 7th for tactical turn-based roguelite Wardrum.

Saber Interactive debuted a brand-new trailer for Bus Bound, their driving-focused simulation where players become everyday heroes of public transit in an evolving city.

Digital Sun Games, developers of the million-selling Moonlighter, showcased ReVamp, their Tower Defensevania where players step into Dracula's shoes, with a playtest launching soon.

SHIRO GAMES SHOWCASE

Shiro Games presented a four-title showcase, beginning with SpaceCraft, its online space exploration and building game, launching in Early Access on May 20. The studio also announced that fantasy online co-op action RPG Farever launches in Early Access on May 6, while brutal survival FPS Frostrail kicks off its open playtest today. Both titles are published under the Shiro Unlimited label.

PARTNER HIGHLIGHTS

Wired Productions commanded attention beyond their world premiere with two additional announcements: Hotel Architect's 1.0 launch date of May 14th plus new content updates for the highest-rated tycoon game on Steam, and Task Time's shadow drop available to play immediately - a physics-based party game from developers who previously worked on Gang Beasts and Fall Guys, free to play for a limited time starting now.

Coffee Stain Publishing announced Easy Trigger's HUNTDOWN: OVERTIME release date of May 7th, the explosive 80s action roguelite prequel where John Sawyer forges himself into a cybernetic legend.

Thunder Lotus, the studio behind Spiritfarer, released a new demo for 33 Immortals, their cooperative action-roguelike where players rebel against God's final judgment as damned souls.

Raw Fury debuted new gameplay from Rivage, Exnilo's immersive sci-fi puzzle adventure.

Wargaming invited players to join the Closed Beta of World of Tanks: HEAT.

Curve Games announced demo availability for Sovereign Tower, their story-rich round table management RPG featuring eccentric knights, epic quests, and gorgeous art direction.

Funkotronic Labs showcased an announcement for Scramble Knights Royale, their fantasy battle royale featuring 32-player competition with split-screen couch co-op, inspired by classics like The Legend of Zelda and Hades.

Headup presented an exciting update on Second Stone, their vibrant action platformer blending action platforming with RPG combat and nostalgic game design, alongside the release date of April 23rd for Causal Loop, a narrative puzzler blending mind-bending mechanics with sci-fi storytelling about time, consequence, and survival.

Blue Dot Games announced the early access release date of April 23rd for 83, their 40v40 squad-based, objective-focused online tactical first-person shooter set in a Cold-War-Gone-Hot scenario.

Far From Home provided a special update on Forever Skies, their sci-fi post-apocalyptic survival game, with the news that it's finally coming to Xbox this summer.

ARTE France revealed the new demo for The Merlies, their cozy exploration game offering a poetic adventure with village-customization elements set in the remains of a forgotten civilization where players lead a community of little birds.

Envar Games announced the early access release date of June 10th for Witchspire, their co-op open world witch adventure featuring creature collecting, and survival-lite gameplay.

Contrast Games announced the release date of May 28th for Akatori, their epic metroidvania.

Jagex: The RuneScape Company presented a new trailer for Old School RuneScape, including details on Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts, the latest instalment of the game's popular limited-time game mode running until 10th June.

Snowcastle Games announced Lysward's demo is available now, their single-player survival adventure set in a vast and unforgiving desert in a fantastical world. Players can grab the demo on the Steam event page.

INDIE HIGHLIGHTS

Gambit Digital and Unreliable Narrators revealed a brand-new trailer and release date of May 14th for The Caribou Trail, their narrative adventure offering a rarely seen perspective on the First World War.

Business Goose announced the release date of June 4th for Swan Song, their emotional puzzle game experience.

FLAT28 showcased new gameplay from Glasshouse, their dark turn-based cRPG.

Numor Games announced demo availability for The Backworld, a Backrooms-inspired RPG.

Relate Games unveiled exclusive new elements of A Study in Blue, a pixel art investigative adventure featuring two playable characters, Blue and Kenneth, offering deeper insight into their story and how they first met.

Delivery Crew releases a first look at their trailer for DELIVERY MUST COMPLETE, a flight action roguelike

ROGUELIKE & ACTION

6side Studio announced demo availability for Dawn of Defense, their strategic defense experience.

Upstream Arcade revealed demo details for EchoBreaker, their action-packed speedrunner.

Talent Digital presented new gameplay from Pecking Order, their competitive action title.

Cavalier Game Studios announced the release date of May 4th for Prime Monster, their monster-collecting adventure.

SURVIVAL & EXPLORATION

Endflame presented new gameplay from Silent Road, their atmospheric horror journey.

ACTION RPG & ADVENTURE

Zeitgeist Studio showcased new footage from NAME OF THE WILL, their narrative-driven adventure.

Akabaka and Black Lantern Collective revealed new gameplay from Sucker for Love: Crush Landing, continuing their horror-comedy dating sim franchise.

TWITCH DROPS & POST-SHOW

Kinetic Games provided an exclusive Phasmophobia Twitch Drop for Galaxies viewers throughout the broadcast, and closed the showcase with a world premiere special announcement: a collaboration with Remedy Entertainment, bringing the haunting atmosphere of Alan Wake 2 to Phasmophobia for a limited-time event.

Following the main showcase, Galaxies hosted its dedicated post-show experience featuring a 40-minute podcast-style discussion and analysis hosted by Neon Kelly (former games journalist) with guests Reanna Francis from Twitch and creative consultant Paul Weedon.
