STOCKHOLM, Sweden. 30th April 2025 — Today, Coffee Stain North and MOOD Publishing are excited to announce that the Kickstarter campaign for Goat Simulator: The Card Game is now live!
Featuring wacky cards, a throwable goat plushie, and franchise references that fans will know and love, the game is set to bring caprine chaos to a tabletop near you, packaging all the joy and nonsense from the video games into a lovely card-filled box! Get your goats in play, toss that beautiful plushie, equip goat gears to complete missions, and unleash havoc with karma cards to shake things up and secure the win.
Goat Simulator: The Card Game also features a Kid-Friendly Mode with simplified game mechanics but equal levels of chaos. Perfect for those that want to spend less time reading and more time throwing the plushie!
Discerning goat fans can pledge any amount towards the Kickstarter, with special rewards available at three separate tiers:
- €20 – Retail Edition
- The baaaa-se game in all its goaty glory!
- €30 – Exclusive Box Edition
- A shiny themed tin box edition that comes with both the base game and exclusive card packs!
- €50 – Exclusive Box Edition & Add-ons
- For the ultra Goat Simulator fans out there! Includes the Exclusive Box Edition items as well as wooden jetons, a neoprene play mat, and a larger version of the throwable plushie!
Those pledging within the first 24 hours of the Kickstarter campaign going live will also receive a special Metal Pilgor coin.
Goat Simulator: The Card Game follows MOOD’s hugely successful Kickstarter campaign for Deep Rock Galactic: The Board Game, which exceeded its initial funding goal by 1000% from nearly 20,000 backers, and their latest project, Valheim: The Board Game currently in production.
Santiago Ferrero, Creative Director at Coffee Stain North, said: “Goat Simulator: The Card Game is quite possibly the greatest tabletop game to ever exist, and you now have a chance to support the project and own it yourself! I mean, have you seen the plushie and its exceptionally long tongue? What’s not to love! Just don’t play the game with an actual goat – we tried playing with Pilgor and half the cards got eaten or drooled on.”
The Kickstarter campaign for Goat Simulator: The Card Game is live from now until May 20th!
If digital goats are more your style, Goat Simulator 3 is available on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iOS and Android.

About Goat Simulator
Goat Simulator 3 is a direct sequel to Goat Simulator, a silly game that started life as an April Fool’s joke born out of a game jam. In 2014, Goat Simulator became a true goat simulation sensation, selling millions of units across consoles and PC, as well as ‘earning’ ports to Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and most recently Apple Arcade.
Goat Simulator 3 builds on everything fans of the first game loved, raising the baa to brand new heights (sometimes literally). Goat Simulator 3 originally launched on the Epic Games Store, as well as Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 in 2022, before arriving on Steam and mobile in 2024.
