Lilliput Fantasy Life Sim Animula Nook Kickstarts Alpha Playtest on 19th March

GuangZhou, March 12th 2026 – Today, LilliLandia Games, an indie studio under Tencent Games specialising in the life simulation genre, is proud to announce the upcoming launch of Animula Nook’s first Early Alpha Playtest on 19th March, 2026.

Debuting first on PC, the playtest for the Lilliput-style life sim offers an early first-look at Animula Nook’s core features, including character customisation and introductory gameplay. Players can customise their characters, homes, and even certain NPC elements while exploring the miniature town of Wuruville with their Wupa - a cat-like creature companion - and getting a first glimpse of everyday life in Minietopia.

The Balcony area will also open in this Alpha, offering another space where players can build their homestead and enjoy planting under open skies. The test also marks the beginning of the exploration journey beyond home, with the first exploration ground, Wupa Woods, opening select areas where players can gather resources such as petals, spider silk, mushrooms, and bottled sunlight.

Along the way, players may encounter nearly 50 different Minies, the original residents of Minietopia, while trying out activities including cooking, dancing, and performance. With more than 500 outfits and furniture items available during the test, the Alpha offers a broader look at the customisation, exploration, and community-building systems that shape life in this tiny world.

Since opening playtest registration in February 2026, Animula Nook has amassed over 6.3 million pre-registrations*, with the soon-to-be-public build offering players a first-look into the whimsical micro-verse hidden within their bedrooms.
