METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 2 releases August 27; pre-orders start today for both physical and digital versions

WINDSOR, UNITED KINGDOM – February 13, 2026 – Konami Digital Entertainment, B.V. (KONAMI) today announced METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 2 is set to release August 27 on Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam®. Pre-orders also kicked off today for both the physical and digital versions of the collection following Sony Interactive's State of Play showcase reveal.

This collection picks up where the 2023’s METAL GEAR SOLID: Master Collection Vol 1 left off by re-introducing two must-play titles that further the stories of Solid Snake and Big Boss. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, makes its first port since its original 2008 release, alongside Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker with up to six-player online gameplay*, and series spin-off Metal Gear: Ghost Babel as bonus content.
Additionally, the collection packs a Screenplay Book containing in-game text from the two premier titles, a Master Book detailing the story and characters, a Digital Soundtrack, and a Database** covering the vast lore from Metal Gear to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
Pre-order bonuses for players that secure their copies early include the “Cardboard Camouflage” Uniform for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and the “Love Cardboard” Uniform for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Players who own their saved data of MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 1 will also earn in-game bonus items for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
