What Awaits Hunters in CBT2

This latest build opens the gates to Aesoland, an original continent exclusive to Monster Hunter Outlanders, filled with new threats, new allies, and new ways to explore and hunt:

Forge Your Legacy as New Adventurers

Answer the call of the wild as a completely new roster of aspiring Adventurers, bringing new roles to the hunting field. There are 3 types of roles:

- Assault (Excels at dealing high damage)

    • Midori (Long Sword) - Midori is an assault type adventurer with a long sword hidden in her shamisen. Her style is a lethal dance flows between elegant evasions and sharp, immediate counters, seamlessly turning the enemy’s aggression into her own damaging opportunities.
    • Pyro (Great Sword) - Pyro is a fervent Great Sword adventurer who hungers to challenge the mightiest foes. He accumulates power through relentless offense and fierce head-on clashes, unleashing devastating Charged finishers that destroy everything in their path.

    - Disruptor (Controls monsters and applies debuffs)

      • Pepper (Heavy Bowgun) - Pepper is a disruptor type adventurer who uses monsters as springboards, vaulting off them to unleash devastating aerial combos. Her Ultimate not only interrupts enemy attacks but also slows her prey continuously.
      • Keres (Dual Blades) - Keres is a Dual Blades adventurer who blends immaturity with ferocity, constantly craving the ultimate hunting rush. She excels at shredding monsters with relentless, storm-like combos.

      - Support (Buffs, heals, and rescues allies)

        • Madelyn (Bow) - Madelyn is a support type adventurer whose precise bowwork plants spores with every arrow—a silent buildup to a catalytic moment. At full bloom, she triggers a devastating detonation that damages the foe and enhances her own abilities. Her Ultimate elevates the entire team’s offensive potential.

        Confront Radiant Monsters

A mysterious substance found on Aesoland has transformed certain monsters, enhancing their aggression and prowess. During hunts, Radiant variants can become frenzied, creating a new layer of challenge for even the most seasoned Hunters. CBT2 will introduce a new wave of Radiant Monsters, featuring Radiant Diablos, Radiant Anjanath, Radiant Barroth, Radiant Rathian, and Radiant Pukei-Pukei among others, along with returning series favorites such as Diablos, Rathian, Anjanath, Paolumu, Great Jagras, and Tobi-Kadachi, etc.

Explore the Untamed Continent of Aesoland

Aesoland's vast and varied landscape unfolds across fiercely distinct regions, each forged by its own climate and terrain. From the towering peaks of the Giantwood Locale to the sun-scorched wastes of the Searing Plains, each distinct region is teeming with unique ecosystems, resources, and hidden secrets. To survive and thrive in these diverse environments, adventurers must adapt. Players can craft essential items and construct temporary field facilities on the go to navigate more efficiently and uncover its deepest secrets.

        Hunt Alongside New Buddies

Joining the classic Palico (partner to Assault Adventurers) are two brand-new Buddies: Rutaco, who assists Disruptor Adventurers, and Trillan, who supports Support Adventurers. Each Buddy has a distinct personality and abilities, can be trained into a more powerful companion, and unlocks unique synergies when paired with the right Adventurer.

A Flexible Hunt for Every Playstyle

Hunt solo or join up to four players in co-op across Aesoland’s open fields. Between the hunts, players can relax with beloved series traditions, craft new gear, and prepare for whatever stirs on the horizon.
