LONDON (August 26, 2026) - Outright Games, in collaboration with Sesame Workshop, today revealed the first gameplay trailer for Sesame Street: Friends & Fun, offering a closer look at the upcoming narrative adventure inspired by the beloved children's series. Launching October 9, 2026, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, the game invites young players to move into Sesame Street and help prepare for a big neighbourhood celebration.

The new trailer gives fans a first look at life on Sesame Street, showcasing beloved characters, customisation features and a variety of story activities and mini-games. As preparations for the Big Block Party get underway, players can explore the neighbourhood, meet new friends and lend a helping hand through playful, educational experiences designed especially for young children.

Joining players throughout the adventure are some of Sesame Street's most beloved residents, including Elmo, Grover, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and Tango. Each character introduces unique activities, from cooking alongside Cookie Monster and helping Abby with magical tasks to tidying up around the neighbourhood. With more than 50 story activities and mini-games to discover, every visit to Sesame Street brings new opportunities for creativity, learning and fun.

The trailer also reveals The Street, the first location unveiled in the game and the vibrant heart of the adventure. Featuring familiar landmarks such as the Community Garden, Bandstand, Farm and other iconic neighbourhood spaces, The Street serves as the central hub for many of the game's activities. While it is the first area to be revealed, additional locations inspired by the world of Sesame Street will be shared closer to launch.

Designed specifically for younger audiences, Sesame Street: Friends & Fun blends interactive storytelling, exploration and educational play in a safe and welcoming environment. Players can create and customise their own character, personalise their home and enjoy the adventure solo or in two-player local co-op. With intuitive controls and positive reinforcement throughout, the experience is tailored for preschool players and families.
