6th November, SOUTHAMPTON, UK - Kinetic Games, developer of the hit co-op horror game Phasmophobia, today announced that the community charity event Ghost Hunts for Hearts has raised more than $230,000 for the American Heart Association! The total is double the $100,000+ raised by the community last year.

Ghost Hunts for Hearts ran from October 26th to November 2nd, 2026, with support from Heart Liive, an American Heart Association initiative that brings together content creators and their communities to raise lifesaving funds and support the organisation’s mission. Over the week, more than 500 streamers signed up to take part, the biggest response Heart Liive has seen for any creator fundraising campaign to date.

This year, Kinetic Games offered a Twitch Drop for Phasmophobia streamers who fundraised for the campaign. From the start of the event, participating fundraising streamers could give viewers the event-exclusive Advocate ID Card and Badge during any Phasmophobia stream throughout the week, rewarding the audiences who tuned in and supported the cause.

Kinetic Games’ fundraising goal was revealed at the start of the event on October 26th as $200,000. As a reward for passing this milestone, the community unlocked an animated version of the Advocate ID Card and Badge set for all Phasmophobia players.

“The Phasmophobia community never fails to amaze us, and this year they’ve outdone themselves. Doubling last year’s total and seeing more than 500 streamers come together for a cause that matters is incredible. Thank you to every streamer, viewer and player who took part, and to our friends at Heart Liive for helping make it happen,” said Tom Dent, Lead Social Media & Player Experience Manager at Kinetic Games.

“Ghost Hunts for Hearts shows what’s possible when content creation meets cause,” said Hayli Baez, Senior National Lead for Heart Liive. “We’re grateful to Kinetic Games and every creator, viewer and player who raised lifesaving funds and supported the American Heart Association’s mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives."
