Rhapsody in Scarlet, PROJECT ZIRCON, and Rev. NOiR Headline KONAMI PRESS START

WINDSOR – September 3, 2026 – Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. (KONAMI) today broadcast KONAMI PRESS START, including the newly revealed Rhapsody in Scarlet, a brand-new action-adventure title, alongside PROJECT ZIRCON, a newly announced deck-building roguelike, and a first look at gameplay footage for social game creation network game KONAMI Wai Wai World Craft. The showcase also featured SILENT HILL: Townfall, Rev. NOiR, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, and eFootball™ Kick-Off!

KONAMI shared a deeper look at Rhapsody in Scarlet, a story-driven fantasy action adventure set in 1920s New York. The broadcast showcased the game’s flexible combo-based combat system, which allows players to combine magickand beasts while adapting their fighting style through close-range, long-range, and area-of-effect attacks. It also introduced the game's lead voice actors, including Cherami Leigh and Akari Kito as protagonist Ellie, alongside Hannah Grace and Saori Onishi as Ilya. Viewers were also given a closer look at the game's recreation of Prohibition-era New York and treated to a special music video, featuring the jazz-inspired theme song performed by SOIL & "PIMP" SESSIONS and singer-songwriter Emi Meyer.

A new story trailer for Rev. NOiR offered a closer look at the upcoming RPG's world and characters. Set in a world threatened by the returning celestial catastrophe known as lightfall, the game follows protagonist Asch, heroine Finé, and their companions on a journey to save humanity. The showcase highlighted the game's blend of combat action and strategic decision-making, featuring mechanics such as Astral Sigils and Kardieoses that allow players to develop their own combat styles throughout the adventure. KONAMI also announced that Rev.NOiR will release in 2027 on XBOX Series X|S and Steam® in addition to previously announced PlayStation®5, with wishlists now open.

KONAMI unveiled PROJECT ZIRCON, a New Deck-Building Roguelike Card Game in which players must build powerful decks and guide their nation through a world threatened by the return of the Calamity Dragon of the Abyss. The presentation introduced the game's Strategy and Admin phases, where players expand territory, acquire cards and facilities, and deploy carefully constructed combinations to overcome challenges. Multiple endings, branching scenarios, were also revealed, with Steam® wishlists opening today.

The latest look at KONAMI Wai Wai World Craft showcased KONAMI's social game creation network game, where players can create, customize, share and evolve their own games using official experiences as a foundation. The broadcast demonstrated how users can modify gameplay rules, add enemies and mechanics, customize worlds. It also revealed that a variety of characters from KONAMI franchises including Contra and Castlevania, will be featured in the game. Designed around the concepts of "Create", "Play" and "Connect", KONAMI Wai Wai World Craft aims to foster a global community where players can build, share and discover new experiences created by others around the world.

SILENT HILL series producer Motoi Okamoto introduced new details on SILENT HILL: Townfall ahead of its September 24 launch. Set on the fictional Scottish island of St. Amelia, the standalone entry welcomes both newcomers and long-time fans of the franchise. The segment featured messages from cast members Jovan Adepo, Terry O'Quinn and Kezia Burrows, alongside insights from writer and director Jon McKellan on the development of the game's story and characters. KONAMI also announced the Japanese voice cast for Simon, Zoe and Richard.

A new trailer, “Bloody Tears Trailer” for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse offered another look at Rose Belmont's battle against Dracula and the forces of darkness ahead of the game's launch on October 15. The footage showcased new story moments, characters and bosses as players prepare to face Dracula's latest resurrection.

A new trailer revealed that League Mode will arrive in eFootball™ Kick-Off! through a free update on September 24. Players will be able to select clubs from leagues across Europe, South America, Asia, Oceania and the J.League as they compete for seasonal glory. The showcase also highlighted the game's variety of play modes, online features, mini-games and family-friendly options available exclusively on Nintendo Switch™ 2.
