Based on the concept “Find the beauty in Terror”, SILENT HILL f is the first psychological horror title in the SILENT HILL series set in Japan, crafted with a realistic and immersive story and design. Players take on the role of Hinako Shimizu, a high school student living in Ebisugaoka, as she explores a town shrouded in fog and undergoing a horrifying transformation, solving mysteries and fighting to protect herself. While struggling to survive, Hinako faces choices that will determine her fate.
The story is written by Ryukishi07, with creature and character designs by kera. The music features a stellar lineup of composers, including Akira Yamaoka – known for his work on numerous titles in the SILENT HILL series – and Kensuke Inage, who has an extensive track record in anime and video game music.
In addition, this title won three awards at the “Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards 2025”, including the fan-voted Game of the Year (GOTY), and took home four awards at the “IGN JAPAN GOTY 2025”. Internationally, it has also generated high acclaim at major global gaming awards, including nominations in three categories at “The Golden Joystick Awards 2025”, and four categories at “The Game Awards 2025”.
