Press release -

New Dwelling in Christchurch Infill Site

Tanner & Tilley Town Planning Consultants working for their client are delighted to have secured an approval for a 2 bedroom bungalow on a severed plot in Sandown Road Christchurch.

Working for a private client this approval shows that infill development is still happening on previously developed land and is not always seen as “Garden Grabbing”

The client after hearing news of the approval commented that “she was delighted when Matt from Tanner & Tilley phoned her with the very good news that planning permission had been granted. The permission came after many phone calls, adapting of plans, emails and letters and although it was a lengthy procedure at no time was there any doubt that Tanner and Tilley would succeed in getting the planning granted. As a company I found Tanner & Tilley to be extremely professional to deal with, always very helpful with suggestions and solutions to problems as they arose and would not hesitate to use the company again for any further ventures.

The bungalow proposed would have two bedrooms, and is therefore suitable for occupation as a small family dwelling. This is consistent with the street, where houses and bungalows typically have two or three bedrooms. Accordingly the intensity of use of the site will be in keeping with its surroundings.

Carlie O’Neill Business Executive at Tanner & Tilley commented “that this approval would mean another quality residence in a nice residential area without causing harm to the surrounding properties.”
