Press release -
New Home For Christchurch
Tanner & Tilley Town Planners working for their longstanding client Caleb Development have secured a planning permission on Somerford Road in Christchurch to sever a plot and erect a two storey detached 3 bedroom house.
The street scene in this road is made up mostly of former Council houses built in the 50’s and 60’s. The site is formed form the rear garden and garage of an existing house and is situated on a corner position.
There are a large number of domestic dwellings on this street so this new development is welcomed as it is not out of keeping with the residential character of the street with well maintained gardens. This new dwelling will have a small front and a larger rear garden.
Andy Green, Director of Caleb Development commented on the decision that “I was delighted that Tanner & Tilley helped gain this approval on the first application with the support of our architect DLM Design with out the need for a laborious process. The concept was well thought out and in keeping with the area. This approval means that we can bring another family home to an area that needs this kind of development.”
