Roger Tilley Wins Best Employer

The winners of this year’s Dorset Business Women Awards were finally unveiled at a gala awards ceremony at Bournemouth’s Langtry Manor Hotel.

The awards now in their second year saw a surprising twist with an award for Best Employer that can be won by a man and sponsored by the Coast FM.

The Winner Roger Tilley from Tanner & Tilley Town Planners was delighted to receive his award and commented “this is a fantastic result for myself and for Tanner & Tilley. This award is recognition of the loyalty and hard work of all our staff over the years and the award is achieved by public voting on the Coast Radio, being the winner shows as a Firm we have tremendous support, and thank you to everyone who voted for me. The ceremony itself was fantastic- so many worthy female winners and me as the only male.”

The initial nomination for Best Employer came from women within the organisation and Carlie O’Neill Business Executive at Tanner & Tilley said after hearing the result “We nominated Roger Tilley as all the women in our organisation are completely supported in their home situations and there is a fantastic amount of flexibility in our working environment. We are all delighted that Roger has won this award “
