Department of Health: Statistical Press Notice: Dental Commissioning Statistics – quarterly update

The following statistics were released today by the Department of Health:

Dental Commissioning for the quarter ending March 2010.

This data shows the number of Units of Dental Activity (UDAs) commissioned as at 31st March 2010.

Key findings this quarter:

- All 152 Commissioners (PCTs and Care Trusts) returned data.
- 88.4 million UDAs have been commissioned as at 31st March 2010.
- This represents an increase of 0.1 million (0.1 %) on the UDAs commissioned as at 31st December 2009.
