Highways Agency (London): Weekly summary of roadworks for M25
The information provided in this report is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
M25 Junction 16 to Junction 23
Ongoing work to widen this section of the M25 to four lanes in each direction between junctions 18 and 21a continues this week. Three narrow lanes in each direction will be available during busy times, with off peak lane closures as required, mostly overnight. A 50mph speed restriction is in place between junctions 18 and 21a that operates 24 hours a day. A free recovery service is available
M25 Junction 27 to Junction 30
Ongoing work to widen M25 to four lanes in each direction between junctions 27 and 30 continues this week. The second phase of the works between junctions 28 and 29 is now in operation, with three narrow lanes in each direction available during busy times, and off peak lane closures as required, mostly overnight. Currently a 50mph speed limit is in place operating 24 hours a day. A free recovery service is available.
M25 Junction 28
The anti-clockwise exit slip road will be closed overnight for 6 nights from 10pm to 5.30am from Tuesday 9 November until Monday 15 November for white lining/road marking work. Work starts at 11pm on Friday night. A diversion route will be fully signposted.
M25 Junction 28
The anti-clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight for 5 nights from 11pm to 5.30am on Friday 12 November and from 10pm to 5.30 am from Saturday 13 November until Tuesday 16 November for carriageway reconstruction/repair work. A diversion route will be fully signposted.
M25 Junction 28
The anti-clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight for 3 nights from 10pm to 5.30am from Tuesday 16 November for carriageway reconstruction/repair work. A diversion route will be fully signposted.
M25 Junction 29
The anti-clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight for 6 nights from 10pm to 5.30am from Tuesday 9 November until Monday 15 November for white lining/road marking work. Work starts at 11pm on Friday night, A diversion route will be fully signposted.
M25 Junction 19
The anti-clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight from 10pm to 5.30am for 4 nights from Monday 15 November for bridge construction work. A diversion route will be fully signposted.

The northbound link road to the A13 eastbound will be closed from 10pm to 5am for 2 nights from Monday 15 November for electrical work. A diversion route will be fully signposted. Moderate delays are expected.

The westbound exit slip to the A1012 will be closed from 10pm to 5am on Tuesday 16 November for litter clearance work. A diversion route will be fully signposted. Moderate delays are expected.
A13 Wennington
The westbound exit slip to the A1306 will be closed from 10pm to 5am on Thursday 18 November for litter clearance work. A diversion route will be fully signposted. Moderate delays are expected.

The eastbound carriageway between Wennington and the A126 at Thurrock will be closed from 10pm to 5am on Thursday 18 November for safety fence repair work. A diversion route will be fully signposted. Moderate delays are expected.

The eastbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed from 10pm to 5am on Thursday 18 November for litter clearance work. A diversion route will be fully signposted. Moderate delays are expected.

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 10pm to 5am on Wednesday 17 for carriageway reconstruction/repair work. A diversion route will be fully signposted. Moderate delays are expected.
M11 Junction 5
The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 10pm to 5am for 7 nights from Wednesday 17 November for carriageway reconstruction/repair work. A diversion route will be fully signposted. Moderate delays are expected. Closures will start at 11pm on Friday night.
M11 Junction 6
The southbound link road to the M25 Clockwise and anti-clockwise will be closed overnight from 10pm to 5am on Tuesday 16 November for carriageway reconstruction/repair work. A diversion route will be fully signposted. Moderate delays are expected.
M23 Junction 8
The southbound link road to the M25 clockwise will be closed overnight from 10pm to 5am for 2 nights from Tuesday 16 November for structures maintenance work. A diversion route will be fully signposted. Moderate delays are expected.
A1(M) Hatfield Tunnel
Phase 3 continues due for completion in Spring 2011. During this phase, the Southbound tunnel will be closed with a two lane contraflow, narrow lanes and a 40mph speed limit 24 hours a day in the Northbound tunnel . Drivers should expect moderate delays during these works . A free recovery service will be in place.
The northbound and southbound carriageways of Hatfield Tunnel including the northbound entry slip road at junction 3 and the southbound entry slip road at junction 4 will be closed overnight for 5 nights from 10pm to 5.30am from Monday 15 November for tunnel refurbishment work. The closure will start at 11pm on Friday night. A diversion route will be fully signposted via the A1001.
A40/M40 Junctions 1 to 1A
Local event 5pm to midnight on 17 November. Drivers should expect additional traffic but no significant delays are anticipated.
M1 Both directions Junctions 1 – 8
Wembley Stadium event 9am to 2.30pm on 16 November. Drivers should expect additional traffic and slight delays are anticipated.
M1 Both directions Junctions 1 – 8
Wembley Stadium England friendly match 9am to 2.30pm on 17 November. Drivers should expect additional traffic and slight delays are anticipated.
M11 Both directions Junction 7
North Weald Airfield Market Day 9am to 4pm on 13 November. Drivers should expect additional traffic bur no significant delays are anticipated.
