Antrica a UK company specialising in video over IP products releases the WiMi4000, one of the industries lowest latency full HD video encoder decoder solutions. 1080P at 60 frames per second is also one of the highest performing video over IP solutions available. WiMi4000 is also one of the lowest cost solutions available for streaming full HD content over IP and decoding back to video. Users can integrate these board level solutions into existing equipment with ease.

Antrica announces a high performance board level Video server and video decoder for streaming Video or PC images over an IP LAN or WAN. Offering 60 frames per second at 1920 x1080 resolution, WiMi4000 allows full HD PC and Video to be streamed over IP. H264 coding plus stereo audio with VGA HDMI CVBS and component inputs / outputs. WiMi4000 is ideal for integration into other products requiring Video over IP capability. A low power WiFi module is fitted to the main board via a mini PCI socket.

Resolutions supported include PAL, NTSC, 720P30, 720P60, 1080i50 1080i60, 1080P30 and 1080P60.

The WiFi module uses the 5GHz band for less interference from other WiFi units.

Encode plus Decode latency is 30mS which is one of the lowest latencies available for H264 codecs.

Applications include Digital Signage medical broadcast industrial CCTV and any other requirement for streaming low latency high quality video over a LAN or WAN

Data rates are approximately 12 MBits /second for full HD video plus Audio. A one way remote control IR interface is useful for applications such as digital signage or wireless HDMI links.
