FirstCarbon Solutions: Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence (CEME) Takes Step Forward to Reduce Its Carbon Footprint

FirstCarbon Solutions, an industry leader in environmental management optimisation, today announced that the Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence (CEME), a stunning education campus and business park in London, will install environmental software to effectively manage its carbon footprint. The organisation will now be able to easily collect the data on its emissions sources and work towards becoming more environmentally friendly.

This effort is in line with the Climate Change Act 2008, whereby organisations must legally reduce their carbon emissions. The entire business park will be able to reduce its environmental risk and provide stakeholders with centralised access to all carbon management tasks and reports with the implementation of FirstCarbon Solution ghgTrack software.

The software will help CEME easily collect data on scope 1, 2 and 3 emission sources – all direct and indirect sources of emissions – and automatically calculate carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e) values based on established protocols. CEME will use the software to provide its stakeholders with detailed and auditable reports on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
