Media Release: Brand New Ellis Unveils Website
Sportscar star Bradley Ellis has officially launched a fresh brand identity and new website, developed by South London web development partners Fathom.
The unveiling of the new www.bradleyellisracing.com site follows an impressive start to Ellis’ 2011 Dunlop Radical UK Cup campaign. The former Radical race winner made his mark returning to the popular one-make series for the first time in four years with a 10-place charge to record a top 10 Supersports class finish in round one. He then delivered a stunning recovery drive after a puncture ruined his race chances while battling for the class lead in round two.
By round four last weekend, Ellis returned to the Radical podium with second in class at Oulton Park.
The 23 year-old has competed across Europe throughout his extensive racing career that stretches from the karting echelons to single seaters and, more recently, through the ranks of sportscar racing.
Crowned British GT Champion in 2007, Ellis can also lay claim to numerous FIA GT3 podiums, fastest laps and joint third in the 2008 series battle, while boasting race wins, podiums and championship titles in virtually every level of racing he has competed.
With his most recent career campaign underway, the fantastic new look website will follow all of Ellis’ racing endeavours, keeping track of his every move via his new blogging column, Facebook and Twitter pages. Fans can also sign up to receive his latest news and race reports and even register for performance driver tuition through his Bradley Ellis Racing coaching company.
“I wanted something a little bit different from my website, not just what everyone else goes for, and that’s hard to achieve when you have to have certain basic elements. I needed a website that really reflected me and my personality, both inside and outside of motorsport,” said Ellis.
“It’s vital for me to portray the right image to help attract career partners, whether manufacturer support or new sponsors, and my new site certainly helps me to achieve that. I’ve come a long way in recent years and the new brand identity will grow with me as I continue to move up through the sport.
“Another main aim of the site is naturally to reach motorsport fans worldwide. I’ve raced in many countries in various categories, so it’s great that people can now follow me wherever I’m racing.”
The new website is designed by Fathom, the leading branding, web and IT development agency based in South London. They have been specialising in delivering technically challenging web projects for PLCs, government departments and medium sized businesses since 1998.
Matt Gates from Fathom commented: “Fathom are proud of our continued sponsorship of Bradley and hope that we have played a small part in his continued success. We've recently overhauled Bradley's brand and web presence, the latest evolution incorporates social plugins as well as regular blog and news updates and links to an extensive range of industry related websites. We want to push updates to fans and industry commentators, as the days of waiting for people to come to you are over."
“I’ve worked with Fathom for several years, since I branched into sportscars,” continued Ellis. “Matt and the company have given me vital support as I’ve moved up through the racing ranks and I’m pleased to continue our valued working partnership.
“Aside from their impressive portfolio, I favour working with Fathom because they are based in my home town of Croydon. Rather than working with faceless big agencies, I prefer investing in local business. Fathom understand what I want and I know how they do things, so we’ve been able to work well together to create an exciting new brand and develop a great new site.”
