The UK's IT industry Census
The first ever comprehensive 'census' of the UK's IT industry is to be launched this month in a pioneering project which will support business development and innovation.
IT businesses of all sizes, LEPs, Local Authorities and Higher and Further Education institutions are invited to a free briefing to hear about:
- The Digital Census which will be launched at the event
- The plans of the IT group of the Coventry and Warwickshire LEP
- The Good IT Guide which showcases IT and digital media businesses in the LEP area with a free entry showing their technology capabilities, certifications and accreditations
- The Digital Nation UK-wide project - currently in Beta version
- The Working Together collaboration listings
- The IT Hub West Midlands site - also in Beta which will go live shortly after the Census launch on the 26th September
There will be updates from representatives of several of the key strategic IT assets in the Coventry and Warwickshire LEP area: SCC - the largest independent IT company in Europe, the Serious Games Institute, International Digital Lab and the Coventry and Warwickshire branch of UKITA.
The launch event will be held at Warwick University's International Digital Lab from 11am to 2pm on the 26th September and will hear from speakers from the LEP, UKITA, the International Digital Lab and the Serious Games Institute.
