Changes to the Villeroy & Boch Supervisory Board: François Villeroy de Galhau and Dr Tilman Krauch newly elected
At the Annual General Meeting on 8 May 2026, the shareholders of Villeroy & Boch AG elected François Villeroy de Galhau and Dr Tilman Krauch as new members of the Supervisory Board. They succeed Dominique Villeroy de Galhau and Christina Rosenberg, whom the company thanks for their many years of service.
With François Villeroy de Galhau, Villeroy & Boch AG welcomes a familiar face to the Supervisory Board: he was already a member of the board from 2010 to 2015. As Governor of the Banque de France, and thanks to his long-standing service on the Governing Council of the European Central Bank and within an international banking group, he brings international economic and financial expertise to the table. He will take up his position on the Supervisory Board on 15 June. Dr Tilman Krauch, who took up his post on 8 May, impresses with his rare combination of scientific expertise as a qualified chemist and extensive international management experience in global corporations.
With her many years of expertise in brand management, sales strategy and organisational development, Christina Rosenberg has supported and further developed the company over the past 13 years during crucial phases such as the restructuring of the Dining & Lifestyle division and the acquisition of Ideal Standard. Since 2015, Dominique Villeroy de Galhau has contributed his international and long-standing expertise from the financial sector and in the field of corporate strategy to the work of the Supervisory Board. He also served as its second deputy chairman from 2023 to 2025.
“Christina Rosenberg and Dominique Villeroy de Galhau have played a key role in shaping the work of the Supervisory Board over many years. On behalf of the Supervisory Board, the Management Board and the owner family, I would like to express my sincere thanks to them,” said Andreas Schmid, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Villeroy & Boch AG. “We look forward to working with François Villeroy de Galhau and Dr Tilman Krauch. Their appointment underscores the close ties between the founding family and the company and brings additional international experience and expertise in the areas of innovation, research & development and production.”
