Maximum design flexibility: Villeroy & Boch and Ideal Standard sink solutions showcase the latest kitchen trends

Modern kitchens are all about clarity, design and comfort – and the sink area offers a particularly striking illustration of this fusion of design and everyday practicality. The Villeroy & Boch group provides a perfect response: its high-quality ceramic sinks and taps impress with their aesthetics, user-friendliness and enduring quality, allowing tailored solutions for a wide range of requirements. The company is celebrating a new milestone at this year’s area30: for the first time, the Villeroy & Boch and Ideal Standard brands are coming together to present a range of kitchen solutions offering kitchen professionals even greater variety.

Optimum use of space – the new Subway Style corner sink

Corner sinks are ideal solutions to fully utilise the available space without compromising on either visual appeal or comfort. With the new corner model in the successful Subway Style collection, Villeroy & Boch is presenting a modern interpretation of this sink design created specially for compact kitchens. The typical features of the series are a large main basin, a triangular side basin and a smooth drainage surface with slender edges, clear lines and soft curves. The variable tap hole bench with four positions supports flexible tap solutions. The new model is available with an easy-care CeramicPlus finish in a choice of twelve colours. Matching accessories including a basket insert and silicone sponge make the sink area a sophisticated work space.

Sinks in different installation versions – for maximum design freedom

One strong trend for kitchens is personalisation. With ceramic sinks for undermount installation, flush-fitting integration, classic built-in installation and butler sinks, Villeroy & Boch offers maximum flexibility for kitchen planning.

Undermount sinks are installed directly below the worktop to create a consistent, puristic effect. The Subway collection offers models for different cabinet widths, including the new Subway 80 U with a comfortable double basin that makes the sink area an integral part of modern kitchen architecture.

Flush-fitting installation, where the worktop and sink converge into a harmonious entity, is another popular choice for sinks. Series such as Linara or Subway Style emphasise this elegant look and create spacious, easy-care work surfaces.

Inserted from above, the classic built-in sink impresses with its versatility. It can be combined with almost any worktop material and is available in different sizes for flexible integration in a wide range of space concepts.

The butler sink opens up additional scope for individual designs. Its striking front makes a real statement in the work space. Available as a single- or double-basin model in different sizes and colours, it offers a wide range of design options – from rustic to timeless or expressive.

Statement taps – Design meets function

Taps are defining elements in modern kitchen design. The extensive selection from Villeroy & Boch and Ideal Standard illustrates the varied possibilities that are now available for the sink area.

With the Konic stainless steel tap, Villeroy & Boch is presenting a model that combines striking design with sustainability: its conical body, comfortably high U-shaped spout and an eco-function to reduce water consumption make it both practical and aesthetic. Available in brushed stainless steel or elegant Matt Black, it coordinates with a wide range of sinks – from the minimalist Siluet to the universal Subway.

With the new Gusto iMX, Ideal Standard is focusing on clever functions for enhanced hygiene, cleanliness and comfort in everyday kitchen routines. The integrated push button soap dispenser eliminates the need for separate bottles and keeps soap or washing up liquid within easy reach. A sensor positioned on the spout allows convenient operation using the palm or back of a hand – a hygienic and simple solution that avoids accidental activation.

A 360° swivel spout and an aerator guarantee flexible working and an even flow of water. The EASY-FIX assembly system allows effortless installation. Different surface finishes including Brushed Gold and Silver Storm also open up a wide range of design options.

The spectrum ranges from simple elegance to functional innovation or colourful accents – diverse options to design a sink area tailored to individual aesthetic preferences and everyday requirements.
