Walk your way fit

Wild About Fitness have launched a new free online calorie calculator which can be used as an aid to weight loss. The counter uses the number of step walked to calculate the number of calories that have been burned during exercise without the need for expensive equipment.

Using a simple pedometer to count the number of steps walked during exercise just enter your gender, weight and the number of steps and the calculator will work out the number of calories burned.

There are a number of devices available on the market that can be used to assist with fitness and weight loss programmes, unfortunately many of these devices can be expensive to buy and difficult to use. That’s why Wild About Fitness have created a calculator which will help keep track of the number of calories that you burn while out walking with the aid of a simple inexpensive pedometer.

Walking is a great way to improve fitness and by tracking the progress you will able to see the improvements made which is an ideal way of keeping motivated towards a chosen goal. Walking also acts the main focus of their bootcamp breaks as this reduces the risk of injury from high impact exercises and can be done by almost everyone, anywhere.

Their 6 day boot camps take place in the heart of Devon and offer a challenging yet rewarding experience designed to improve fitness, increase weight loss and give tips and advice to take away at the end of the course.
