The Zero Alpha Foundation supports KartForce

The Zero Alpha Foundation is proud to have supported KartForce with a grant of £500 which help contribute to the costs of getting injured troops karting, whether for practice and coaching sessions or race entry fees, or any expenses related to these.

This grant  given by The Zero Alpha Foundation will be the first of many such grants as we value and appreciate the work Kartforce do to support our injured veterans.

This specific grant is to help injured troops and veterans get involved in motorsport. "This fresh take on rehabilitation gives these injured troops an amazing opportunity. Reading the quotes from the troops involved on the KartForce site  clearly demonstrates the benefits this gives to them and we're glad that we can help with this." said Craig Johnston, Chairman, The Zero Alpha Foundation.

KartForce, founded by Dave Player, is set up to get injured troops into the exciting world of Motorsport through Karting. Dave is ex-Army, having served 5 years in the Royal Engineers and has been a wheelchair user since 1991 after suffering a spinal cord injury.  He has been involved with several businesses encompassing tourism, property management & sales, insurance, and has vast experience of organising and promoting sport events.

His main sport event successes have included setting up of various wheelchair activities including annual wheelchair basketball tournaments, European handcycling championship and European Paralympic Powerlifting Championships. In addition he has also been responsible for the promotion of Muay Thai kickboxing and MMA fight nights.

We are looking to work with Kartforce throughout 2014 to assist in fundraising initiatives which is another means by which the Foundation works with military charities. As well as providing additional grants to assist in the provision of their services to veterans.

It is amazing to think that all of this is possible solely through the sale of mobile phone contracts.

If you wish to get involved then check out the deals at Zero Alpha Mobile, you get competitive prices from all major network providers, you pay no more than what you would pay elsewhere and this helps The Zero Alpha Foundation provide support to these great charities.

It's that simple!
