Appello’s GPS Navigator Wisepilot pioneers with Live Traffic in UAE

Up-to-date traffic information from NAVTEQ will give users of Live Traffic an automatic route alternative when it is possible to save time compared to traffic conditions along ongoing route. All traffic congestions are also visible on map and estimated time to arrival is always set to incoming traffic information. Wisepilot also gives users the opportunity to contribute to further enhance the quality of the traffic information by anonymously sending travel information to Appello and NAVTEQ.

Live Traffic for United Arab Emirates is already released and can be bought through Wisepilot’s own in-appshop. One week cost 2.95 EUR and lifetime 29.95 EUR. Live Traffic is now available in more than ten countries. Wisepilot has widespread distribution in Europe, Africa and the Middle East and is customized to all markets covering over 20 languages. Distribution goes via mobile operators, handset manufacturers and applications
stores such as BlackBerry App World and Android Market, as well as via Wisepilot’s website, www.wisepilot.com. Wisepilot is also preinstalled on all Sony Ericsson phones with GPS.
