At NECA Virtual Convention, DEWALT® Announces ATOMIC Compact Series™ 20V MAX* Bandsaw

TOWSON, MD (October 6, 2020) – At the 2020 NECA Virtual Convention, DEWALT debuts the new ATOMIC Compact Series20V MAX* Brushless Cordless 1-3/4-In. Bandsaw (DCS377), made for fast one-handed cutting. The bandsaw is the latest to join the more than 200 products in the 20V MAX* System as part of the ATOMIC Compact Series™ line of tools, which combine performance and durability in a compact format.

The ATOMIC Compact Series20V MAX* Bandsaw’s 1-3/4-In. cut capacity allows cutting of the most common small-sized metal diameters found on the jobsite, making it ideal for electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other metalworking applications. It is lightweight at just 6.6 lbs. (bare tool) and features an integrated guard for one-handed, overhead cutting applications. With an SFPM from 150 to 380, the bandsaw features a variable speed trigger and speed dial for control when cutting materials including stainless steel, strut or all thread.

In addition, the bandsaw is designed with an integrated hang hook allowing users to hang the tool between cuts, and has an LED light to help illuminate the cutting area. This tool has a bracket for mounting a LANYARD READY™ attachment (sold separately), making it easy to securely anchor to scaffolding during at-height jobs, and is compatible with the DEWALT Tool Connect™ Chip (sold separately) for convenient management and tracking of the tool.

Rolling out in February 2021, the ATOMIC Compact Series20V MAX* Brushless Cordless 1-3/4-In. Bandsaw will be available kitted (DCS377Q1) with a 20V MAX* Compact 4.0 Ah battery (DCB240) for $299 MSRP or as a bare tool (DCS377B) for $199 MSRP. Replacement DEWALT 27-In. 18TPI Bandsaw Blade 3-Packs will be available beginning in early 2021. For more information on DEWALT tools, including additional fastening options, visit www.DEWALT.com.

*Maximum initial battery voltage (measured without a workload) is 20 volts. Nominal voltage is 18.
