Woman Travels Thousands of Miles on the Alaskan Highway with Tiny Teardrop Camper Trailer in Tow

Teardrop Camper Trailers are making a comeback. These tiny lightweight towable recreational vehicles can be towed by virtually any vehicle with a hitch, and they can go places that larger RVs cannot. One Little Guy customer, Judy Nadon, Field Editor for The MILEPOST, an 800-page trip planner for the Alaskan Highway, has circumnavigated all roads in Northern British Columbia, Alberta, Northwest Territories, and Yukon--including the Dempster Highway which crosses the Arctic Circle and ends in Inuvik.

Ms. Nadon travels a 27,000 kilometer route through Canada's north country selling advertising, taking photographs, and updating highway information. She does all of this driving a Pontiac Grand Prix with her Little Guy Rascal teardrop camper trailer in tow.

According to Chris Baum, Chief Operating Officer and CFO of Little Guy Worldwide, "Ms. Nadon exemplifies what it means to be a teardrop trailer owner. She's adventuresome, practical, and not afraid to think outside the box." When Mr. Baum refers to "box" he is making a tongue in cheek references to large, gas guzzling motor homes and monstrous trailers. "Towing a large camper or driving a class A motor home comes with a lot of work. A Little Guy, on the other hand, sets up for a night of camping in just seconds, and there is virtually no maintenance."

Indeed, in the three years since purchasing her Little Guy teardop, Ms. Nadon has only had to replace tires due to normal wear and tear and to periodically replace wheel bearings. There has been virtually no maintenance cost associated with owning her teardrop camper trailer.

Little Guy's team knows what it takes to travel with a Little Guy along the Trans Canada and Alaskan Highways.
