National Hispana Leadership Institute in Collaboration with American Express is Celebrating the Graduation of 2011-2012 Class for the Advancing Latinas Leaders in Nonprofit Program
Washington, D.C. — The National Hispana Leadership Institute in collaboration with American Express is celebrating the graduation of their 22 high-performing graduates of the 2011-2012, Advancing Latina Leaders in Nonprofit (ALL IN) class.
The graduation ceremony will be held Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 6:00pm, at the Hyatt Arlington.
Barbara J. DesMarteau, Acting President, stated “I am so honored to take part of the second graduating class of the ALLIN program.” She added, “With the support of American Express, this program has fostered the advancement of Latina leaders in Nonprofit and has enabled the growth and development of these 22 exceptional women.”
The ALL IN program, which was launched 2010 consist of four distinct components. These include a five-day leadership training in conjunction with NHLI’s Executive Leadership Training Conference, which convenes over 600 graduates across all sectors, an exclusive online webinar training, a five-day intensive session in Washington, D.C. including a certificate from Georgetown University’s Center for Public and Nonprofit Leadership, a mentoring component, and a capstone project to be implemented in the fellow’s employing nonprofit organization.
