Nidec and Nidec Advance Technology to Exhibit Products at TECHNO-FRONTIER 2025/ the 43rd Motor Technology Exhibition
Nidec Corporation (TSE: 6594; OTC US: NJDCY) (“Nidec” or the “Company”) and Nidec Advance Technology Corporation (“Nidec Advance Technology”) announced today that they will jointly exhibit products and technologies at TECHNO-FRONTIER 2025/the 43rd Motor Technology Exhibition, an exhibition specialized in mechatronics and electronics products to be held at Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight) from Wednesday, July 23 – Friday, July 25, 2025.
1. The Nidec Corporation booth
- Products to showcase Nidec’s advanced E-Axle technology and entry into the aviation industry
Nidec’s products will include: a third-generation E-Axle, the first 7-in-1 system whose mass production started last fiscal year; a fourth-generation E-Axle, which is currently under development with better functions and mountability; and a next-generation, magnet-free, high-performance E-Axle currently under development based on NEDO’s Green Innovation Fund.
In addition to products used on the ground, the Company will display aviation industry-related products, such as: the high-efficiency and light-weight eVTOL motors presented at Paris Air Show 2025; and compact, light, and high-efficiency drone motors and ESCs equipped with next-generation power semiconductors, to appeal Nidec’s diverse technological capabilities.
2. The Nidec Advance Technology booth
- Solutions for xEV technology and the future
This year’s Motor Technology Exhibition will witness Nidec Advance Technology introduce its latest, inspection technology-based xEV inspection solutions, and new products and technologies that contribute to the future, together with the motor/E-Axle test benches (the TDAS series) described in a press release September 2023, and commissioned motor/E-Axle testing services and test bench rental service using the series.
In addition, Nidec Advance Technology will exhibit: E-Transport Simulator, which is a software simulation tool to support electric vehicle designing and analysis; power semiconductor-related products such as IGBT/SiC inspection equipment; general-purpose inverters; and Power Analyzer/Data Logger, a product made by Austria’s DEWETRON, which Nidec Advance Technology serves as an agent.
