Nidec Recognized with Highest Rating “Supplier Engagement Leader” in CDP 2024

The CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project), a global environmental non-profit organization, has recognized Nidec Corporation as prestigious 2024 Supplier Engagement Leader in “Supplier Engagement Rating” (“SER”).

SER assesses a company’s supply chain engagement towards climate-change issues based on their response to CDP's Climate Change Questionnaire, which is divided into four areas: governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions, and value chain engagement. Nidec was recognized as a company highly rated for the efforts in engaging with suppliers.
