Nidec to unveil next-generation mobility technologies at Auto China 2026

CHINA, April, 2026 – Nidec Automotive Motors & Electronic Controls (AMEC), a Business Unit within Nidec Corporation, will showcase its latest innovations for electric, hybrid, and combustion vehicles at Auto China 2026, from April 24^thto May 3^rd.

During the exhibition, the company will be highlighting advanced solutions in steering, braking, motors for sunroofs and seats, as well as oil and water pumps, and Thermal Management Module designed to drive efficiency, safety, and comfort across the automotive sector.

"Auto China 2026 is an important stage for us to demonstrate how our localized R&D and manufacturing excellence in China are driving forward-thinking solutions," said Guilherme Almeida, Division Director of AMEC. "By combining our regional expertise with our global structure, we are empowering automakers to deliver vehicles that set new standards in safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort."

In China, the company operates through four facilities located in Dalian, Pinghu, Jiaxing, and Jiangsu. Also counting on sales teams located in Shanghai, this footprint enables the company to serve local and global customers not only with motors but with deep expertise in R&D. AMEC's global operations include approximately10,000 employees across 14 production sites in 12 countries.

Product Highlights at the Nidec Booth (Hall W2, Booth B25):

• Advanced Braking | Electromechanical Brake (EBM) Motor:
  A core component for next-generation brake-by-wire systems, this highly integrated motor eliminates the need for traditional hydraulic components, simplifying the installation in the vehicle. Its compact design delivers the needed output to ensure high-precision braking with faster response times. Engineered for excellent resistance to heat and vibration, this technology enables advanced features in the system such as customizable 'track mode' brake feel,
  autonomous driving, and more efficient regenerative braking in electric vehicles.
  
  
• Comfort | BLDC technology:
  A large range of comfort applications, such as roof systems, seat adjustments, towbar actuators, along with other systems that enhance the driver’s experience. The company will showcase the next generation of these motors featuring Brushless DC (BLDC) technology, which offers long slide capabilities, high speed, low noise, space optimization, and added value creation. Engineered for silent operation, these products are perfectly suited for the new paradigm of passenger space in electric vehicles.
  
  
• “All-in-One" Thermal Management Module for electric vehicles:
  A compact, all-in-one solution designed to efficiently regulate the temperature of an electric vehicle's battery, drive system, and passenger cabin. By integrating key mechatronic components, such as the air conditioning compressor, valves, actuators, and water pumps, into one unified system, it minimizes the necessary lines and connections. This integration ultimately lowers the vehicle's weight, overall size, material costs, and assembly time. Furthermore, the system is environmentally conscious, utilizing highly efficient Propane (R290) as a refrigerant.
