日本电产机床株式会社新研发出了可对机器的定位和进给量等进行数字化检测的电磁感应式直线位置检测器“MPLW系列”。其不仅具有与传统的MPLZ系列相同的分辨率※1和精度，还通过新开发的信号检测方法和基板的高度集成化，取消了光栅接线及模拟/数字转换器（以下简称A/D转换器）的使用，新增了可设置多个滑块的多滑块功能，并实现了低廉的产品供价。日本电产机床计划从今年秋季开始向以机床为代表的工业机械领域市场进行推广。
