日本电产东测株式会社成功研制出了车载用电动油泵（以下简称“EOP”）的第二代产品。

EOP除了用于将驱动电机的冷却用油送出之外，在燃油车中，随着自带怠速启停功能车型的普及，也用于在发动机停止时向CVT及A/T等变速箱提供润滑油。日本电产东测的EOP也被搭载在集团销售的电驱系统——“E-Axle”上，并在市场上销售。
日本电产东测新研发的第二代EOP，体积和重量均为日本电产集团的 “E-Axle”所搭载的第一代EOP的一半，在“轻量化” 方面取得了较大突破，推出了同级别产品中具有进步性的轻量级产品。第二代EOP可保证在-40℃～105℃的温度下工作，不受地域的限制。
