In less than a week, Norwegian will carry out its most important flight of the year: the annual Fill a Plane campaign flight with UNICEF. This time we are heading to Chad, with a brand-new Boeing 737 MAX that has just been delivered from the Boeing factory and will be filled with emergency aid in both in the cargo belly and inside the plane itself.

Norwegian reported strong passenger growth as it carried more than 3.6 million passengers in August. The total number of passengers increased by 10 percent compared to the same month previous year. The load factor was approximately 90 percent on the entire route network and 94 percent on the company’s long-haul routes, operated by the 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Norwegian continues its growth in Ireland by announcing its new expanded 2019 summer schedule with 37% more weekly departures from the United States and Canada. Last month, Norwegian also announced upcoming service from Hamilton/Toronto to Dublin, commencing March 31, 2019.

Norwegian has launched its first flight from the United States to Madrid. Norwegian (NAS) today reported its second quarter earnings for 2018 with a net profit of NOK 300 million, despite the highest growth in the company’s history. Going forward, the growth will slow down and ramp-up costs will decrease, in line with Norwegian’s strategy.
