DEWALT Announces 9” 60V MAX* Cut-Off Saw
LAS VEGAS (January 23, 2018) – DEWALT® announces the 9” 60V MAX* Cut-Off Saw (DCS690) at World of Concrete 2018. As part of the growing FLEXVOLT® System, the 9” 60V MAX* Cut-Off Saw offers the freedom of power without gas**.
The 9” 60V MAX* Cut-Off Saw is capable of 3-1/4” depth of cut and features a brushless motor that achieves 6,600 RPM. This allows for fast and efficient, single pass cuts and scores in concrete and steel as well as pavestones and rebar. With a rotatable, 5-position guard, the user can select the approach angle that provides optimal visibility and accessibility when cutting in tight spaces. With features including an all-metal drivetrain, the saw is durable and efficient. It is also protected from harsh jobsite conditions through its latched battery box and sealed on/off switch. In addition, the 9” 60V MAX* Cut-Off Saw features a dual-sided water delivery system that offers an OSHA Table 1 Complaint solution for dust management when cutting concrete.
Featuring a front handle that can be held in three positions, the saw can be used to cut in both horizontal and vertical positions. In addition, a new heavy load indicator light provides the user with power and runtime feedback during demanding applications. Finally, the tool itself is Tool Connect™ Tag Ready™ (tag sold separately). Included with the kitted and bare units is one FLEXVOLT® Diamond Wheel and one FLEXVOLT® Cut-Off Wheel, each optimized for use with the 9” 60V MAX* Cut-Off Saw.
With the 9” 60V MAX* Cut-Off Saw, the concrete construction user benefits from the power of the FLEXVOLT® System without the hassles of gas**. With an efficient and powerful brushless motor, the tool provides long runtime in demanding applications.
