Gik - the USA will raise a glass of red, white and finally: BLUE wine

It took two years of in-dept research, closely collaborating with several leading technological institutes within the food industry, until this startup launched the 100% organic beverage already known as Gik, the blue wine onto the market. A sweet and fresh taste and the vibrant Indigo colour are the main characteristics of Gik, aimed to create a blue and innovative beverage in a traditional industry and an accessible drink for all young people between 18 and 70 years old. Now, people from the USA will welcome and enjoy the famous blue wine.

They share this creation through the largest winery in the world: t he internet . The product is available in more than 25 countries that have already fell in love with it. After that, they are targeting the American market. National launch date has not yet been scheduled, but people willing to be one of the first few trying it in the United States can pre-order it at www.bluewine.us .

“We are really thankful for all the interest and love that we are feeling from the USA, and that’s why we wanted to start spreading Gik there as soon as possible”, explains the young team. And it is no wonder, as they have more than 10.000 pre-orders in their American site (around 30.000 bottles).

Get your hands on a bottle!

Gik will start spreading in Miami -after a launch party that will be held in October-, Boston and Texas, but will soon spread to some other states too. The young team is mainly focusing in arriving to New York, New Jersey, Miami, Michigan, Massachussets, Florida, Fresno, Nevada, Washington and California (in general, they are targeting the northern and southern part of the East Coast). If you are willing to be one of the first to enjoy it, you can already

place a pre-order at their website. They will send these orders really soon and before any other once they reach the US.

On the other hand, and if someone would like to help them get and distribute it as far as possible, they can directly contact the team h ere .

A whole new category in an ancient industry

“For us, Gik is not a blue wine, but a new category that the world has never seen”, the company explains. It may seem obvious, but they have had to face some criticism coming from the most traditional side of the Spanish wine industry. Words like “blasphemy” or “terrible invention” are just a few of the ones these entrepreneurs have heard so far. But of course, this didn’t stop them from spreading Gik as far as possible to much more open-minded countries like the United States.

This year, finally, people will be able to raise a red, white and blue glass in the US!
