Why Having a Cleanroom is a Non-negotiable Part of any Hospital System

It has never been more critical to provide the highest standard of cleanroom technology available. An increase in health concerns and an upswing in the likelihood of pandemic outbreaks mean cleanrooms must be built in the safest and most effective way possible. Having an intimate understanding of the problem at hand is critical to keeping staff and patients safe while we all ride out the coronavirus pandemic for the foreseeable future.

What elements make up a premium cleanroom? Why are they an essential investment? One of the most important features is the control of pollutants like dust, airborne microbes, and aerosol particles. With hospital-acquired infections also on the rise, a cleanroom is a crucial component in curbing the spread of antibiotic-resistant infections.

Most importantly, given the increasingly high pressure put on the hospital system at the moment, it’s absolutely vital that there are no interruptions in processes and routines. Having a reliable cleanroom is a non-negotiable part of any hospital system, which is why more organizations are coming to QleanAir for help. On this note, we are pleased to announce the renewal of a contract for six cleanrooms with the same healthcare organization in the USA.

QleanAir has renewed the contract for six USP 797 and 800 compliant cleanrooms for a leading New York-based healthcare system. QleanAir designed and installed the first of six cleanrooms over three years ago, and after a profoundly positive experience with both the environment and service partnership, the client has extended their contract with us. The cleanrooms are critical to the ongoing care and safety of the hospital system’s patients and staff.

Upon announcing the news, the President of QleanAir’s North American operation, Brad Ballantine, said, “I can’t think of a better product endorsement than the renewal for six of our cleanroom leases with a leading healthcare provider in the state of New York. The combination of QleanAir’s high-quality system and an ongoing compliance guarantee is allowing pharmacists to do what they do best – focus on treating patients.
